Brian and Noelle are an Irish couple who left Ireland in 2009 on a one way ticket to South Korea. They have travelled to 30+ countries, over 5 continents and blog about their adventures on their travel blog Wandering On.
They have spent the majority of their travels between Asia, the Indian Sub Continent and Europe, travelling slowly, taking the time to experience as much of each country they visit as possible. They don’t believe in hammering out the highlights, they love to take the path less trodden and don’t believe there are any wrong turns.
They have had some incredible highlights along the way including 22 days trekking to Everest Base Camp and beyond, cycling the East coast of Taiwan, spending a Winter snowboarding in Bulgaria, watching the sunset and sunrise from the top of Mt. Fuji in Japan, surfing the breaks of Sri Lanka’s south coast and diving World War II wrecks in the Philippines. They’ve climbed Jebel Toubkal (North Africa’s highest mountain) on a day most were turning back, visited remote tribes in West Timor, backpacked through India over 6 months, climbed Ireland’s highest peak, walked part of the Camino De Santiago in Spain, cycled from the Pyrenees to the Costa Brava and lived in 7 different countries around the world. And they’re not finished yet.
They focus on adventure travel and photography and so New Zealand is the perfect place for them to get lost. As Mighway’s first roaming bloggers, Brian and Noelle are on a mission to see as much of the country as they can experience and as many of the highlights while also getting off the beaten track at every opportunity. With New Zealand’s stunning landscapes and unquenchable thirst for adventure, there’s no doubt these two will feel right at home.
They aim to inspire others to travel the world through their stunning photography, fun videos and entertaining stories. They travel full-time with no place but the road to call home. Their tag line is “Live to Travel” and they do just that – living, breathing and encompassing everything that travel is all about.
Keep an eye on the Mighway Instagram for daily updates and follow their journey with Mighway around New Zealand over the next 3 months and give a beep or a wave if you see them on the road. They’ll be the ones with the big, excited grins stretching from ear to ear as they explore just some of what NZ has to offer.
