Pinnacles National Park

This campsite is about 80 miles southeast of San Jose. You will know you’ve made a good choice once you are on the road and begin to take in the scenic view that makes it worth the drive alone. The park was formed millions of years ago by volcanoes. The result today is a park filled with spires talus caves, canyons and sprawling woodlands.

The campground offers 134 sites that can accommodate both RV’s or tent camping. Each site has a picnic table and a firepit for you to enjoy. The camp has the modern amenities of a general store and a swimming pool to cool off in after a long hike. The campground allows dogs but they are prohibited from the hiking trails.

Mountain Gate RV Park and Cottages

Near the town of Redding in Northern California you can find this amazing park. This is a Good Sam affiliated campground that has exceptional amenities. It is considered overall to be one of the best RV parks in all of California. The park is located close to the Lake Shasta Caverns, Lake Shasta and the Shasta Cascades. The campground offers immaculate bathrooms, a fenced pet park, hot tub, swimming pool, and a convenience store.
